We designed an inflatable paddle board to solve a problem

I grew up with a father who was both a sailor and a teacher. That meant I was going to spend every weekend… every summer… on a boat - like it or not - learning about the wind, tides, currents, waves, boat traffic, fogbanks, reefs, and the rules of navigation… the school of hard “knots”, if you will.

From those summers in New England, a move to Seattle, and finally settling down in Venice Beach. I always gravitated to oceans, marinas, and beaches. I migrated… from a boat person to a surf person who still wanted to explore and cruise my new coastal waterways with the freedom of a boat.

Years later paddleboard shops opened up in L.A. Even then, quality rentals were hard to come by and many of my friends lent/borrowed boards to try the newest and coolest trend. Standing on those early hardboards…I felt like I was propelled by the same desires I had as a kid to explore the water, to Go Anywhere.

This passion went into the original design of the 360 Go Anywhere boards - an inflatable kayak in theory, yet satisfying the urge to surf.  I wanted something that would literally go anywhere and survive anything that the world throws at it – from Boston… to Seattle… to our four locations in the greater Los Angeles area. Total freedom. Complete engagement.

The problem was most iSUPs of the day had the reputation for being cheaply made - light use only - unstable, and easily pushed around by the wind and waves. Not what you want when you’re exploring coastal zones or paddling on vacation in “paradise” and the conditions change on you. I wanted something tough, with a lower center of gravity to reduce windage, and eliminate that feeling of being too tippy to take a good stroke when you want to go home or to take off on a wave.

I searched for a super heavy duty material that could handle more pounds per square inch of air so that a rider would feel low to the water line but still have a rigid board feel all while still being able to roll it up and stow it in a back pack or throw into your rental car. The best of all worlds - a board that can Go Anywhere your skills can take you.

The name 360 Go Anywhere is really just a mantra that is reminds you that your paddle skills and your attention to your environment – technique and a 360 degree awareness of your environment – will give you that freedom to Go, to roam, and to confidently explore, and see the world from a SUP point of view

Our boards are designed to be the best in the business, priced to be accessible to anyone and have been tested by years of use by my students at my Paddle Method school in Los Angeles. All of our individual boards were carefully designed to both meet a specific mission while still being able to truly be a multi-use tool for varying conditions. We offer boards in two different materials…..Multilayer Dropstitch PVC Vinyl and Fusion Weave Vinyl, both extremely durable constructions each designed for a specific use while still allowing us to offer boards that meet demanding conditions.

Low Center Of Gravity for Stability in any environment

When designing an inflatable board to take you Anywhere we needed to make a board that was durable, stable, and could handle the conditions – wind, and waves – by keeping the rider profile low to the water line we reduced the rail size of a typical inflatable from 6 inches to 4 inches for our Cruising boards and 5” for our Touring/Expedition series, keeping your center of gravity lower and reducing the amount of area for the wind and waves to push your around.

PVC-Ultimate toughness for any condition

Our PVC Drop Stitch Boards were designed for any place, any condition and any rider at any time. Slightly heavier weight to be able to handle difficult water or rocks, etc. A heavy gauge military grade PVC can handle more pounds per square inch of air so that our iSUPs feel more like a rigid board – every stroke you take will transfer your energy into pushing forward through surface water conditions.

Deck and bottom have 0.7mm 1000 Denier polyester plain weave laminate over the 500 Denier drop-stitch material, making the hull extra strong and stiff. Rails with 0.5mm 500 Denier polyester plain weave, secures 100% air tightness covered bu robust bi-axial 0.7mm 1000 Denier polyester mesh for additional stiffness

A 360 Go Anywhere inflatable SUP will not get dinged, cracked or damaged like a hard board. Constructed of a PVC drop stitch and reinforced for durability, this is the best choice for versatile paddlers who may encounter extreme conditions such as rocks, hot sun and the occasional temperamental child. No maintenance required.
